Yummo Caramel Corn

Yesterday was Brooklyn's last full day of school and it was a day for them to take down all the projects, watch a movie and just celebrate what a great year it's been.

I saw a Caramel Corn recipe on I Heart Naptime
and it looked so good that I just had to make it for Brooklyn's class party.

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought some quart Ziploc bags,
then went to the grocery store to get the necessary ingredients.

I made mine with air popped corn because,
well, it's what I had and I will use any excuse to pull out my cute popcorn maker;)

My first batch was a Big. Fat. FAIL!

I didn't let it get hot enough and it just didn't do it's "thing"

Batches 2, 3, 4 and 5 were MUCH better!

Yep. 5 batches.
I wanted to barf by the time I filled the last bag with caramel corn and M&M's.

It was just sooo good that I just couldn't stop eating it.
Be warned.

We have the same popcorn popper!! And it's the same popper that Mike Symon uses on Iron Chef America too, so that means that we're practically related to an Iron Chef ;)

The most important thing she’d learned over the years was that there was no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one."
