Baby Shower Name Bunting

For my friend Melanie's surprise baby shower we wanted a name bunting to use as a decoration that could also be used as nursery decor. My friend Georgia bought these awesome textured fabrics at thrift stores and I made a name bunting out of them(my first one EVER).

Yellow and white stripes on the front with the applique letters.

Pink Corduroy on the back and brown bias tape to connect it all.

The theme of her nursery is butterflies,
so I found a butterfly to add to the bunting on either side of her name.

I didn't take step by step pictures,
but I am sure you can google bunting tutorials and have just a few to choose from;) Ha!
Maybe I will add to the insanity when I make my next one.

We hung it up at the shower and it was so cute!

I am hooked and am planning to make one for my own house one of these days:)
